At Manukau Rd, my client and I opened up the floor plan and reconfigured the kitchen to allow for bright, light filled, open plan living. This involved reconfiguring support of the roof structure and reinforcing the bracing for the building. We stripped back the outdated sheet flooring and refinished the original tawa floors.
